Big Impct
This year, Simple Smoke Cooking Team is partnering with Santo’s Sanctuary & Rescue and the Alzheimer’s Association to help raise awareness effecting our community. From April 10 – 12, 2025, we will be teaming up at the University of Houston’s Frontier Fiesta in an effort to highlight awareness for these causes.
Santo's Sanctuary & Rescue
Santo’s Sanctuary & Rescue is a dog rescue organization who’s mission is to help as many homeless dogs as possible get adopted. The Sanctuary opened in 2021 and in their short history they have been successful in this mission rescuing several hundred dogs. As they continue to take in and nuture man’s best friend, they ask for the community’s help to find homes for our four legged friends.

Team Masonjay
The Alzheimer’s Association has been around for decades and continues to put a spotlight on the need for continued research and education into the unfortunate disease. This ailment has affected many family and friends of the members of Simple Smoke and the team holds this near and dear to their heart. They know that with the continued help from the community they can help those who may be effected in the future.
Frontier Fiesta
Finally, Frontier Fiesta is hosted on the University of Houston campus and is the largest event the school produces every year. It is a three day event that consist of student body variety shows, a cook-off and concerts. More than 45,000 people attend over the duration of the three days.
